FAQ

Are you Pet Friendly?

We love animals and have our own resident mini fox terrier "Chucky".

Unfortunately, due to several unfortunate experiences we are no longer able to welcome pets.

Covid 19

Kilcoy Gardens Motel is fortunate to have single story accommodation that facilitates social distancing and natural airflow.

There are no hallways or lifts and unit doors/windows have direct outdoor access  while individual room air conditioning guarantees you are not sharing recycled air with other rooms.

We enhance this by maintaining a social distance of 1.5m between staff and guests and request that guests respond in kind.

In addition to our usual high standard of cleaning Kilcoy Gardens Motel has implemented use of additional sanitizers in response to covid-19 concerns.

All rooms are stripped of toweling, linen and bedding between stays with all linen and toweling commercially washed and ironed at high temperature.

Crockery, cutlery and glassware are also machine washed at high temperatures.  (We ask that guests leave all used items out for daily replacement)

All hard surfaces in the rooms are wiped with commercial sanitizer/disinfectant. (This includes furniture, appliances and all touch points.)

Shower recesses and tile floors are mopped with commercial sanitizer/disinfectant.

Toilet bowls receive an additional scrub with disinfectant bleach.

Disinfectant spray and clean Chux wipes have been placed in all rooms for your incidental use.

Do you have a Guest Laundry?

We do not have a guest laundry but we are happy to do a bag wash and dry for you overnight for $5 per load.

Alternatively there is a coin operated laundry near the corner of Seib and William streets

Do you take groups?

We have 13 rooms available for general bookings and groups subject to availability at the time.  However, we might not accept large  group bookings midweek as this negatively impacts our regular business.

We define small groups as bookings of 4-7 rooms and require payment in advance or credit card guarantees with a 7 day cancellation policy. ie cancellations under 7 days notice will be charged the first night for each room booked.

We define large groups as bookings from 8 rooms or more and require a 50% non refundable deposit paid at least 7 days prior to arrival.  The non-refundable deposit covers any cancellations.
