In order to maintain a restful and harmonious environment we request that all guests and visitors respect the privacy, security and peaceful enjoyment of other guests during their stay.
Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their companions, visitors, children and pets (if permitted) while on the property.
Unlawful, intoxicated, unruly, aggressive, noisy or lewd conduct may result in eviction of the offender and their companions at the discretion of the manager and without compensation.
We request that patrons maintain quiet from 10pm to 8am.
We accept Cash, EFTPOS, Visa Card, Mastercard and American Express cards with no surcharge applied.
Full payment is required at check-in, unless we have received a prepayment or charge back to a credit card has been arranged in advance.
Direct deposits may be made to Malabar Motels Qld Pty Ltd: BSB: 064 424 ACCT: 1071 6819. Please reference the booking number and allow several days for payments to clear.
We do not manually key credit/debit card payments unless a written charge back authority has been received with images of the credit card and the cardholder's photo id.
Registered guests are responsible for all damage caused by themselves, their companions, visitors, children and pets (not permitted).
At our discretion, we reserve the right to charge for replacement or repair of any property damaged beyond fair wear and tear.
In lieu of a bond, guests may be asked to provide credit card details and a photo id on check-in. Guests paying cash may be required to provide a $100 cash bond.
Motel room keys are expensive to replace if lost as replacement requires a locksmith call out to install a new lock barrel and cut matching keys to maintain room security. The most recent charge for this service was $280!
Individual bookings may be cancelled without penalty with 24 hours or more notice. Late cancellations may incur a fee equivalent to one night .
Small group bookings (4-7 rooms) may be cancelled without penalty with 7 days or more notice. Late cancellation may incur a fee equivalent to one night per booking.
As we obtain a 50% non-refundable deposit 7 days prior to arrival for large groups (8 rooms +), large group bookings may be cancelled at any time without additional penalty.
Whilst we take every effort to provide a secure room with key and lock, ultimately guests are responsible for their own possessions. The motel can not be held liable for the loss or theft of any guest property.
While Kilcoy has very little crime, caution is always wise. Please lock your door and ensure you keep valuables with you or locked in your vehicle when you leave the room.
Please ensure you check your room on departure and do not leave any valuables behind.
